So whether you have:
a round face or slim face
Small eyes or large eyes
Monolids or double lids and hooded lids
Dark or light Complexion

For people with rounder faces,
Try contouring and highlighting. its a good way to make your face more distinguished.

Here a few DOs and DONTs :

  • Do
    • Wash tone and moisturize Before applying makeup. This will help having a cleaner apearance.
    • Your make up in a well lit area. You dont want to do your make up in dark areas. You may miss a spot in your application
    • Blend out your eyeshadow as well as foundation.(large fluffy brushes for the eyes and gentle circle motions with your foundation brush, makeup sponge ect. )
    • Wash your brushes between uses. This may be on a daily basis or whenever you use them.
  • Don't
    • Pack on your makeup. Makeup should feel light or almost natural. Same goes with your eyes. Exeption- doing a dramatic look for a photoshoot, party, or experimenting for fun.
    •  Use lipstick on your eyes or blush on you lips ect. Products that are made for the lips may not be tested on the eyes so don't put that on there. This may damage the sensitive skin around your eyes.
    • Pump your Mascara wand. this causes air to get trapped in the tube and it will expire your mascara much faster.
    • Apply makeup in a rough manner! Be gentle on your skin. Tugging or wiping hard can cause wrinkles and even pulling your eye a bit to apply your eyeliner is bad. Avoid these things.
    • Apply bronzer all over your face. it should start lightly above your eyebrow and work its way down your temple and under your cheekbones to under your jawline in a 3 and backwards 3 on the otherside.
Its good to have a Day and Night routine for your skin and well... you never know what brand is going to work the best for you. Different cleanser can either dry out your skin if its to strong, or not be strong enough to properly cleanse your face of impurities.

Start off your Morning Routine by using a cleanser. Follow up with a toner and wait for that to dry. Toners help make your pores apear smaller. Then, your going to want to moisturize but ofcourse be careful because there are different skin types. Oily skin to dry skin and combination skin. Alot of people say Moisturizers with oils are bad for oily skin but thats not true in all cases. Argan oil is used for oily skin and helps alot. Look for it at Sephora♥

Applying your makeup

Everyone does their makeup differently so i cant tell you exactly how to. But there are a few things to take into consideration. Primers are a good way to get a clean finish to your makeup. Eyeprimers help to keep
your eyeshadow on longer as well as help keep your eyelids from getting oily, for those that do.
Concealer on problem spots helps hide scars and dark circle under your eyes, but dont think you should just cover that up and thats it. Take care of your eyes and tend to any scars from blemishes and zits. Use brushes Instead of your hands, unless if you just want to use your hands then go right on ahead :] just make sure your hands are clean. your hands can get lots of bacteria and as for brushes, you can clean them on the daily and not have to worry as much. And last but not least makesure to blend your makeup a little onto you neck area. doesnt mean you have to cover your neck in makeup but bring it down a bit and blend so you dont have a line where your makeup starts and where your skin begins.. its going to noticable and thats not good.

Throughout the day your going to want your makeup to last and well if it doesn't your going to have to touch a bit. But when you get home you should remove your makeup properly.DON'T SLEEP IN YOUR MAKEUP!  it will cause you to break out and it can stain your eyes if you dont use a primer for your eyes.

To remove your makeup:

Start off by using a makeup remover for your eyes. Wet your cottonball and place gently on your eye for about 10-15 seconds. Then gently take off all the eyeshadow and mascara.
For your face, you can use either makeup remover towels or a cleanser that multitasks. Not all cleansers do the job well so you may have to include this extra step. Follow up with you Night Routine.

Your Night Routine should consist of the following
  • A Cleanser
  • eye cream
  • Serum(kind of dry)
  • Apply Wrinkle Cream to wrinkle prone areas.
  • Hydrating serum
  • Your lip balm or chapstick
  • A Microdermabrasion kit to gently remove old dead skin and take care of your new fresh skin,(NOTE: you should do this once a week)
Check out Michelle Phans video on her Nightcare Routine. This can apply to everyone and isnt specific brands that may be over priced(even though serums themselves are pricey)
